Vinegar Tom
A similar play set in 17th century England that tells the story of Alice and her mother Joan who are accused of witchcraft and Joan’s cat, Vinegar Tom who is blamed for the villagers misfortune.
These generic peasant style of costumes from the 16th and 17th century did not change much for hundreds of years and so are very suitable for any re-enactment event and plays involving peasants or amish. The costumes below are made from wools and linens with only buttons and ties for fastening making them historically accurate.
